Rodrigo Cezário holds a degree in Marketing Management from the University Center of Belo Horizonte (UNI-BH), and has worked in the Brazilian fashion market for twenty years. He is a nationally-awarded professional, having received the New Talents Award granted by Casa de
Criadores (House of Creators) in 2003, and acts as a stylist, creative director, cultural producer, and consultant in the area of creative economy. Rodrigo is a member of the State Council for Cultural Policy of Minas Gerais, representing the Design and Fashion sector. He also participates in the Fashion Business Council of the Trade Association of the state of Minas Gerais – ACMinas – and in the creation of the “Frente da Moda
Mineira” (Fashion Front of Minas Gerais).
Rodrigo’s keen eye and his knowledge of the fashion production chain, in addition to his academic background in the areas of fashion and marketing, constitute a competitive advantage in his research process, which goes beyond trends and references, taking also into consideration economic and social aspects.
Among his partners are organizations like the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE), Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal), Educational and Cultural Foundation of the State of Minas Gerais (FUMEC University), Fundação Dom Cabral (Dom Cabral Foundation), and Grupo Multiplan (Multiplan Group). He collaborates in the development of the Design and Fashion sector in the state of Minas Gerais, contributing to the planning and implementation of actions that generate prosperity for society. Furthermore, he appreciates and values traditions and the revival of traditional knowledge and crafts, as well as the innovations of cultural production, as he believes that these may be factors that can lead to differentiation and sustainable growth.
