Lucius Vilar holds a degree in Fashion Design from FASM - Faculdade Santa Marcelina (Santa Marcelina College). He is the creative director of LUV studio, a styling and image office that provides consulting services on fashion and behavior, strategy and positioning, visual identity and universe, collection development, and surface design. LUV assists and advises several fashion brands and has maintained partnerships with large associations, such as Assintecal - Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (2007) and ABIT – Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (2014). Lucius has extensive experience in fashion and behavior research, having worked for Senac Moda Informação (a project of the National Service for Commercial Training), Instituto By Brasil - IBB (By Brasil Institute), and the international magazine Bloom of trend forecaster Li Edelkoort. Lucius Vilar teaches collection planning and collection project in the fashion course of IED SÃO PAULO – Istituto Europeo di Design. He also gives talks and conducts workshops for the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade - MDIC, as well as for the following educational institutions: Istituto Europeo di Design - IED (São Paulo), Anhembi Morumbi University (São Paulo), Belas Artes College (São Paulo), National Service of Commercial Training – SENAC (São Paulo), Higher School of Management, Marketing and Communication – ESAMC (Minas Gerais), University of Rio Grande do Norte – UNP, Universidad ORT (Montevideo, Uruguay), and Universidad San Buenaventura (Cali– Colombia).
